Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Verified Rigs platform (ABN: 80 460 284 763). By accessing this site, you agree to be bound by these conditions in full.
Section 1

The Service & Eligibility

Verified Rigs is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of heavy machinery. We are a platform provider only and do not act as a motor dealer, agent, or warrantor for any party.

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Sellers must provide a valid ABN or verified identity documentation.
  • You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
Section 2

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activity includes:

  • Submitting fraudulent listing info (Fake VINs, false hours).
  • Using bots or scrapers to extract marketplace data.
  • Harassing other users or misrepresenting your identity.
Enforcement: Verified Rigs reserves the right to terminate accounts found in violation of these rules without notice or refund.
Section 3

Seller Terms & PPSR Vetting

Vetting: No listing goes live until Verified Rigs performs an official PPSR search and VIN audit. Machines flagged as stolen or having uncleared finance will be rejected.

Listing Fees: The flat fee is a non-refundable service charge for the security audit and administrative processing. It is not contingent on the final sale of the machine.

Section 4

50-Point Mechanical Inspection

The inspection is a point-in-time visual assessment conducted by a qualified diesel mechanic. It is designed to confirm the machine's existence and visible condition.

Disclaimer: The inspection report is NOT a mechanical warranty. Verified Rigs is not liable for latent defects or malfunctions arising after the inspection date.
Section 5

Secure Transactions

Verified Rigs is not a party to any financial transaction. All funds are exchanged directly between buyer and seller.

Handover Protocol: We mandate a 10-20% good-faith deposit (paid after viewing the PPSR) with the balance transferred only when the machine is physically loaded for transport.

Never pay the full purchase amount before physically standing next to the iron and confirming the VIN.

Section 6

Intellectual Property

All platform content, logos, and designs are the property of Verified Rigs. Sellers grant us a license to display submitted photos for the purpose of marketing the listing.

Section 7

Liability & Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the fees paid by you to Verified Rigs in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Section 8

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be referred to the courts of Queensland or QCAT where applicable.
